It’s back-to-school time! You are probably working in your rooms, getting everything just right for Meet the Teacher night and making sure you know what you’re going to teach the first few days of class. You are probably going to in-services, trying to soak in as much knowledge as you can before the year starts. August is definitely a busy month for us too and hopefully we’ll meet some of you in your districts as we’re doing in-service for teachers around the state!
Twitter is a great way to get lots of great information and ideas in not a lot of time, so we thought we’d share some of our favorite peeps to follow on Twitter in case you need to beef up your Twitter feed!
@LitLearnAct – These gals are literacy educators who are always ready to share great ideas and respond to questions
@cybraryman1 – Talk about information overload! This librarian has so many great resources and he shares them all on his blog. He is definitely there to help all teachers with all students.
@AuntyTech – This retired ed tech teacher has great technology integration ideas (and we LOVE her Twitter handle!).
@yabooksandmore – This Texas school librarian is always up to date with the latest in YA Lit. She shares book trailers, great reads, and apps.
@debbyreiling – The Library/Media Services consultant from ESC 11, Debby shares lots of great resources and ideas.
And of course – yours truly…
